    I created Hear For An Ear - Coffee Chats to offer what I once needed — a warm, welcoming space where mental health could be met with compassion, not clinical coldness. A place where peer support feels like a coffee date with a friend, not a formality. Through Hear For An Ear I hold space for honest conversations, quiet check-ins, and the kind of connection that reminds us we’re not alone. I believe in the healing power of being heard — truly heard — and in the comfort of small, intentional kindnesses.This mission is rooted in my own journey, in the support group that made me feel seen, and in the quiet companionship of my sweet Freya. Together, they helped me find my way — and now, I am here to help others find theirs.

    For over two decades, I’ve worked in the heart of customer service. I’ve spent thousands of hours listening to stories, solving problems, and learning the subtle art of human connection. What I’ve discovered is simple: Most people don't need a solution as much as they need a witness. I’ve built my life on being that witness—someone who listens not just to hear, but to understand.

    The Meaning of Freylance
    You might wonder about the name. It was inspired by my sweet companion, Freya. In some of my own quietest and hardest moments, she was there. She didn't have advice, and she didn't have answers—she just had presence. She taught me that you don’t need a degree in counseling to help someone heal; you just need to show up and stay. Hear For An Ear is my way of n showing up for you.

    My Philosophy: No Labels, Just Coffee
    I’m not here to fix you, because I don't believe you're broken. I’m here to offer a "digital porch"—a safe, anonymous space where you can drop the mask you wear for the rest of the world. I believe in the power of the exhale. I believe that a warm cup of coffee and a kind stranger can be the bridge between a hard day and a hopeful tomorrow.
